I claim to hate things like broccoli and squash. However, if you put these things in a stir fry that has good flavor (or curry, which I have no idea how to do, but a friend cooks veggie curry for me sometimes), I will gobble up broccoli and squash and any other veggies that you put in there.

vegetable advice:
try the same vegetable different ways. I still hate raw broccoli, but I will eat it in pot pies and stir fries (or with enough peppercorn ranch dressing).
there are a million different spices and herbs out there. try those, too.
try a fritatta, then you can pile on salsa if you don't like the veggies, and still manage to eat it. :)
veggies soups are a great way to get in lots of veggies for someone who doesn't like vegetables - you can cook them to the point of mush, and they taste like the soup base. and you can make a ton and freeze it in batches.
and this is the time for grilling. marinate and grill veggies wrapped in foil. that's what convinced me that asparagus was the best vegetable ever.
